Fernwood Resort Offers Eagle Watch Weekend Package in Partnership with the Pocono Environmental Education Center

BUSHKILL, PA (Winter 2014) - Fernwood Resort has once again joined with the Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) in Bushkill, PA to create packages that include accommodations at Fernwood and events at PEEC. Gina Bertucci, spokesperson for Fernwood, comments, "The natural beauty of the Pocono Mountain region is highlighted through special programs offered by the Pocono Environmental Education Center. We continue to partner with them to create easy access to the National Park and the programs that give guests the opportunity to experience a variety of activities surrounded by nature."

    PEEC is located within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area which offers 68,000 acres of pristine woodlands, rivers and streams. The Eagle Watch Weekends are Saturday, January 25th and Sunday, February 2nd from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Guests will join guides from PEEC to watch eagles soaring, feeding and nesting.
